Hi there rochelle129,

We're happy to help with your doorbell not alerting you as expected. To start, you'll want to be sure your iPhone is running the latest software version, which is iOS 16.1.1. You can see which version is currently installed by going to Settings > General > About > Software Version. If needed, learn how to update your iPhone here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Next, you'll want to be sure you followed the correct steps to add the doorbell as an accessory in the Home app. You'll find those steps here: Add an accessory to the Home app - Apple Support

Also, on the Logitech website, we see that the doorbell you have requires a functioning wired doorbell system (8-24V AC 10 VA or higher) and compatible chime, in addition to a high-speed 2.4/5 GHz a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi-based Internet near doorbell and home internet with at least 2.5 Mbps upload speed. Do you have these items and does your internet connection meet these requirements? Learn more from Logitech here: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/cameras/circle-view-video-doorbell.html

Let us know what you find, and we'll take a closer look from there.

Thanks!

Thanks for this step-by-step instruction. We've completed it all and the only thing we might do is address our upload speed which is 15 to 16 Mbps. The doorbell notification still isn't working. We can see the front porch through the camera though.

We don't have an Apple HomePod and wonder if that is needed to receive notifications that someone is ringing the doorbell whether we're home or not?

Hello rochelle129,

We appreciate those details.

If you have the functioning wired doorbell system (8-24V AC 10 VA or higher) and compatible chime, as required by the Circle View Doorbell, you would not need the HomePod for the chime. Since the Circle View is not an Apple product, we suggest reaching out to Logitech for further assistance. You can reach them here: Logitech Support + Download

Cheers!
