Apple 2010 iMac - Snow Leopard - Erase Hard Drive

Hello

Would anyone have some advice on how I can erase my iMac. It won't kick into Recovery on start up. I've called Apple and they advised that I need the Leopard Installer CD which we no longer have.

Appreciate it if anyone know if there is a possible work around this that does not involve buying the CD.

Thank you!

If you no longer have the original gray install disc set that came with the 2010 Mac mini?

You can buy a Retail Snow Leopard Upgrade DVD from E-Bay.

Then you can update the 2010 iMac from Snow Leopard up to High Sierra.

Another option is to create a bootable installer on a flash drive.
