Can AirPods Pro 2nd gen be used with 1st gen case?

No, they are 2 different AirPods and the case sizes are different. The 2nd gen AirPod will not fit inside the 1st ge case. If i were you i would keep the case if you are buying the new AirPods 2nd gen seeing as it has some new features anyway.

charging cases are different inside ,but outside dimensions are the same .No,you can’t put 2nd gen pods in a 1st gen charging case,but you can put 2nd gens in a 1st gen protective case.You’ll just cover the lanyard attachment point,and speakers on the bottom

I just ordered the AirPod Pro 2nd generation and a case to go with it. When ordering the case on Amazon, I was repeatedly warned that cases designed for the 2nd gen would not fit the 1st gen AirPods.
