Accent characters on iPhone

It seems you need help with your iPhone keyboard and we want to assist you.

What happens when you use your iPhone to try and type something?

Try taking the steps here to type characters:

Enter accented letters or other characters while typing

While typing, touch and hold the letter, number, or symbol on the keyboard that’s related to the character you want.

For example, to enter é, touch and hold the e key, then slide to choose a variant.

Type with the onscreen keyboard on iPhone

That should be the steps you take to type this out. You might need to make sure your correct keyboard is selected in Settings as well.
