I'm trying to customize my current lock screen wallpaper - but when I get to: Tap Customize Current Wallpaper or Add New Wallpaper and select a wallpaper. I don't see the option to customize current wallpaper?

Hey there, fhall1,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

Being able to customize your wallpaper is such a cool feature of iOS 16 so we're happy to help make sure it's working as expected. We want to help clarify the best way to get this sorted out. To start, go ahead and lock your iPhone so that you're looking at the Lock Screen. From there, press and hold on the Lock Screen which will bring up the option to tap "Customize" where you will be able to make adjustments to either the Lock Screen or the Home Screen as you see fit.

We hope this does the trick for you!

Cheers.

What I see is that Apple has updated their support web page since I asked this. The previous page had the erroneous instruction that once you went to settings you could select either "Customize current wallpaper" or "Create New Wallpaper". Now the procedure doesn't mention being able to use your existing wallpaper at all - which is what I wanted to do.
