extend applecare plus

I am almost at the end of the 3 years AppleCare+ warranty and would like to extend it further.

How do I do that?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.6

Once your current coverage expires and within 30 days of it expiring go to https://mysupport.apple.com/ and there should be an option to extend it from there.

You’ll need to wait until expires though.

I thought so too.

Unfortunately it does not tell anything about how to apply for the extension.

Just talks about the possibility and eligibility of extension.

Even customer support personnel found it hard to explain on how to apply.

Apparently, no instructions show up unless the current coverage expires.
