iOS 16.1.1. Drains battery…..can’t find any solutions

With any new version of iOS there are always maintenance and re-indexing tasks to be performed. It should settle down in a few days. These are the standard steps for short battery life: 

1) Have you tried a restart?  If not, do it now.

2) Go to Settings > Battery > BATTERY USAGE BY APP to see the apps that are consuming your battery.

3) Check “Battery Health” in the link:

4) If all else fails, consider a battery replacement:

I’ve had the same problem. My battery dies very quick. My phone is a few months old and after updating to 16.1.1 my battery dies very quickly. It’s been almost two weeks now and nothing is any better. I’ve followed all optimization tips for the battery and they don’t help. I’ve got a case open with Apple and I’ve contacted my service provider too. It’s time an update is done to fix this issue.

Since I upgraded my iPad Pro to iPadOS 16.1.1 it drastically drains my battery with FindMy. Battery normally lasted for days if I was not using my iPad, and now without any use it drains in less than 24 hours. I did a reset, reconfigure it as a new iPad and still does the same. FindMy is the #1 app draining the battery, even if I disable FindMy it continues to do the same, and the scariest part of all, I deleted the FindMy app from the iPad after disabling it, rebooted the iPad and the battery was still being drained by a “ Recently Deleted App”. So, is now Apple enforcing FindMy and spying on us or something? This is unbelievable. IOS is going worse and worse every time, this iOS 16 is just terrible.

This requires a patch ASAP, it’s a completely unacceptable behavior.
