Pages sharing is broken in the current edition

I am currently running MacOs Ventura 13.0.1 and Apple Pages 12.2.

I now find that I cannot send or share a Pages document as a Word document by email as In used to be able to do. There are no options to do this in Pages anymore and the information in the Apple Help files list menu items that no longer exist.

I really don't want to have to export the Pages document as a Word document on my computer and they send that.

This seems to be a badly executed retrograde step. Any ideas?

Mac mini, macOS 13.0

There have been several posts in this community about this loss of functionality. Pages v12.2 on Monterey has also lost its Share menu, but my Apple Silicon, and Intel Macs running Monterey 12.6.1 retain their File menu > Send a Copy and optional Send A Copy toolbar item. I sent very clear feedback to the Pages product team about this feature omission and not understanding how users use their product… Perhaps this will be remedied in a future release of Ventura and/or Pages. Until then…

Presently, with Pages v12.2 on Ventura 13.0.1, there is no means to work around attaching an exported Word document to an outgoing Mail compose window. You must export the Pages document to Word, and then drag/drop that onto the Mail compose window that you have launched.

I thought this so dumb in fact that I wrote an AppleScript that does all of that boring labor with a single-click. If you follow the instructions I posted in my two-part response to PAGES: Where did "share as pdf" go? - Apple Community, then you will have a Shortcut tool that with a single click, gets the job done.
