Video quality option is missing in browsers on iPhone

While reading news on Safari/Google Chrome I often get videos too. When I play them, quality of the video is extremely bad and I can't change it. When I open the same article on Android or PC, I can change the video quality easily.

Is there something I am missing? And I just don't know how to change the quality?

Can someone please help, this is driving me crazy!

I am using Iphone 14 Pro!

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

Hello Radenko98,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you want to be able to change the video quality when using the Safari or Chrome browsers from your iPhone. There is not a way to do this using the Safari browser. We recommend that you leave Apple feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple

We recommend you use the steps here to contact Google regarding the Chrome browser: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Contact the developer of an iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS app

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Search for the app, then tap it. If you can't find it, tap the account button  or your photo at the top of the screen, tap Purchased, tap "Not on this [device]," then tap the app.
  3. The app's product page appears. Scroll to the Ratings & Reviews section, then tap App Support. If you don't see App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Take care.
