Cannot Change DNS

i went to System Prefrences -> Network -> Wifi -> Advanced -> DNS, then tried to press the “+” button to change my DNS, but the plus symbol is grayed out. All of the WiFi settings are grayed out, actually. It won’t let me change anything, does anyone know how I can fix this?

After doing this, the DNS is no longer being automatically determined and set when joining a network, i.e., the DNS filled out by default is the last one used and I need to manually enter correct DNS when every time I join a new network. Ventura and DNS After installing Ventura on my MacBook Pro, I cant delete a DNS server in setting. I chose System Settings -> Network -> WiFi -> Details -> DNS. If try to select a DNS entry and press "-" it does not work and its greyed out. Any suggestions?

Wifi Details won't open Depending on the Wi-Fi network I am connected to, when I click the "Details" button in the "Wi-Fi" system settings (the "Details" button right under the "Wi-Fi" on/off switch), the Wi-Fi details screen does not open at all, no matter what I do (switch wi-fi on/off, click many times, reboot mac, etc). This happens a lot and it's annoying because some times I need to go there to change settings like DNS (and I need to do it through the command line as a workaround)

Make sure the padlock in the bottom left is unlocked in Users and Groups. That will ensure that you can make modifications elsewhere in system preferences. Non-Admin users can't make such modifications. Standard, Guest, and mobile users are such users.
