Apple Watch adding music I did not select, cannot delete them

Apple Watch series 7, have reset three times so far. iPhone (13) shut down restarted numerous times. Turned off the recent music button. Added three playlists and one album from my iPhone, 623 songs in all. However, after album finished DL, first playlist seemed to and still is taking forever, on checking general, about, I have 1160 songs - Whut?

Tried deleting songs and albums, from both phone and Watch, but music in Watch app says no music, general about says 1160 songs still, along with storage saying 4.7Gb.

Music still shows on Watch and deleting from Watch only says open settings, music, turn on sync library, only problem is, there is no sync library anywhere on my iphone, iPad, Watch, MacBook Pro or Mac Pro.

it appears that the only way to delete music from the Watch is to reset the Watch, the only problem is, after restoring and the putting it on the charger, my music comes back, even though I haven't got anything turned on. (And no, I don’t have iCloud music turned on)

what is going on?
