Hi, I am editing an interview and had to join to words from different parts of the interview to form a sentence. Now when the audio runs from one sound clip to another there is an obvious cracking sound that comes in-between the two clip. When the clips are run independently there seems to be no issue.
Kindly suggest to to handle this?

Yes did that, but it doesn't seem to solve the issue!
Can’t help you without having access to it and hearing what’s happening.
I slightly edited the clips and added the cross fade. It's manageable now.
