How long will iPad 6 Gen be supported?

iPad models generally only lose update support when their CPU/RAM configuration or capabilities are insufficient to run a newer major version of iPadOS.  iPad models typically receive an industry-leading five-to-seven years of active update support from initial release of a model to market.

Apple does not pre-announce retirement dates for its products.

All of the current replies really comes down to no one knows, but Apple.

We are all just, largely, Apple product users here and none of us will ever know what Apple does, or doesn't do.

Your year snd model iPad will get a full year of iPadOS 16 support.

6th gen iPad came out in 2018.

Chances are, your 6th gen iPad will get, at least, another full year of support through 2024, but it is anyone's guess past that point.
