Contacts constantly accessed by Apps

I would like to know why Safari, Photos, Health, Calendar, Contacts?, Find My, and other apps at different times are CONSTANTLY accessing my Contacts.

I do not want to be told the same old line — “Go to Privacy or the App settings and check the permissions I have given”. None of these Apps show in the Privacy list, and most, if not all, have no choice in the individual App settings.

I have also seen my Photos, Media Library, etc., accessed at different times by apps that have no permission to do so.

WHAT GIVES!?!?!?

We'd like to learn more to see how we can help. Where are you seeing that these apps are accessing your contacts?

If you go to Settings > Privacy & Security, then tap App Privacy Report, do you see apps listed there that you didn't give permission to access your contacts? Have a look at this link to learn more: Control access to information in apps on iPhone - Apple Support
