While I see YouTube support by prefixing the word "YouTube", I do not see any support for YouTube TV which is one of the most popular streaming services. I am referring to the apple support page located at About Search on your Apple TV - Apple Support
Just wondering if Siri on the Apple TV device can support finding available shows in YTTV. It apparently supports FuboTV which we use now are considering YTTV in the future. I was looking at upgrading my current inexpensive streaming devices to a couple of Apple TV 4K (for the ethernet port mostly). But my wife loves searching using Google Assistant on the Google 4K device and it locates shows in most apps including YTTV. If YTTV becomes our primary streaming driver and she loses the ability to locate shows in that app, pretty confident she will reject the change! Sure we can still search within YTTV but the ability to just see options across "All" the apps would be gone.
So your saying this is a Youtube issue (not playing nice) rather than Apple. As a software developer, I would not be surprised. Just want to know who I can complain to about this loss of valuable functionality. Appears the Apple TV devices can search just about anything EXCEPT YTTV specifically. Thank you for responding.

It is up to the app developer, in this case Google, as to whether they want to support specific features of tvOS. Do you have something specific in mind, or are you just wondering if you can do Siri searches in the YTTV app?
