Mail don't load graphics in Ventura

When I receive an email with graphics, in Mail, it loads with a question mark. The same email opened in Safari has the pictures.

Open mail app select Mail>Settings>Privacy disable:

  • “Protect Mail Activity” /
  • “Hide IP address” /
  • “Block all remote content”

compare your results and report back

One of our users is having the same issue, and the suggested solution below does not work:

Open mail app select Mail>Settings>Privacy disable:

  • “Protect Mail Activity” /
  • “Hide IP address” /
  • “Block all remote content”

Another user suggested that after doing this, you may also have to open an affected email and select "Load Content Directory" in the upper right. That also did not fix the problem.

This is very frustrating. Anyone else have any ideas?

When I first upgraded to Ventura none of my remote content was loading. After lots of messing about with settings I got almost all of it to work but there are still a couple of newsletters that I just cannot fix. There must be a way. I have now tried every suggestion I could find on the web, but that aren't a lot that pertain to Ventura, Most fixes are for older operating systems.

Even if the turning privacy off helps, surely we don't want to do that anyway as I thought that stops undesired tracking or hackers. I want the privacy but I work with images and I do want to be able to see them, previously you could tap a button and then see the images on the messages if we wanted but hat seems to have gone now. its very irritating and I hope apple will sort this out
