USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter is not working with headphones

I connect a piano to my ipad with USB ( 6' USB to USB-B Cable).

I'd like to use a headphones. So I bought USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (MU7E2AM/A). So I connect my headphones to MU7E2AM/A, and connect MU7E2AM/A to USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter.

The headphone is not working. It works without USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter, but I need it to connect my piano.

Please advice

Hi nickgu19,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

From your description it doesn't sound like this isn't a compatible way to hear your piano as you are playing it into your iPad.

We'd advise contacting the piano manufacturer for more information on achieving what you want. You may also need to contact the app developer. This article will show you How to contact an app developer

"Contact the developer of an iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS app

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Search for the app, then tap it. If you can't find it, tap the account button  or your photo at the top of the screen, tap Purchased, tap "Not on this [device]," then tap the app.
  3. The app's product page appears. Scroll to the Ratings & Reviews section, then tap App Support. If you don't see App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID."

Have a fantastic day!
