I tried several times the photo shuffle option, but get always the response unable to upload, try again later. What do I need to do?

After updating to IOS 16.1.1, I wanted to change my wallpaper. I tried several times the photo shuffle option, but get always the response unable to upload, try again later. What do I need to do?

Hey there Frieda,

We'd like to try getting the Photo Shuffle wallpaper feature to work as expected, so let's confirm some more details about what's happening, along with ruling out some basics:

  1. You mentioned that it shows 'unable to upload', but does anything else at all show in the same error message?
  2. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  3. Do you have iCloud Photos enabled, and if yes, do you have any issues accessing your photos?

Cheers!
