The iPod could not be restored because the updater software was busy

iPod Shuffle, 1st Gen, 512MB. Whenever I try to restore it, it gives me this message:

It won't let me delete/add music, rename it, or really do anything else with it. The only thing I was able to do was update to the latest software version. Please help!

Ipod Classic Will Not Sync with iTunes My iPod Classic will no longer sync with iTunes on my Windows 10 PC. I am running the latest iTunes software version and using the correct iPod drivers. The settings show that the iPod is full of "other" content, leaving no room for anything else. I read this happens when the drive has become corrupted and needs to be restored. However, when I try doing just that, I receive a 1439 error message saying that my iPod cannot be restored. I've also tried pressing the center button and Menu button simultaneously, but that hasn't worked either. Is there any fix for all this, or is my iPod shot?

How do I restore my iPod using iTunes? So, I’ve tried multiple times to restore my iPod Classic 5th Gen on both Windows and Mac, but it keeps telling me that I need to restore it using iTunes. What do I do to get it to work? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
