Early 2014 13" MacBook Air

Hello everyone !! I have an Early 2014 13" MacBook Air and I love editing in iMovie. Last night I made a short video for a friend(around one minute long) and I noticed the Mac was getting very hot and the fan started spinning as fast as it could while exporting the video. Any ideas on how to keep it away from overheating?

It runs on MacOS Big Sur 11.7.1, all apps are up to date including iMovie.
