Some of Hidden folder files disappeared

I had around 40 files in my hidden folder a week ago,but since the last ios update, there are only 9 files in my hidden folder left and rest are missing,checked everywhere in my iphone and icloud and could'nt find those missing files.please help me out.

Files app on my iPad folders have dissappeared I’ve somehow lost some folders and hundreds of files under the on my iPad section on my iPad. They were there a week ago but have now gone. Is there a way of recovering them? Could I restore the complete backups from a previous weekly iCloud backup? If so does this impact anything else, I’m mainly worried about losing photos if I did this. I know I should have put the folders/files in the iCloud Drive but that’s a lesson learnt for me. any help or advice appreciated.

iPhone 14 Pro Files App Automatically Deleting Files over time I have certain files in a folder that I placed there about 1 month ago. Now they are missing but the folders are there with just the folder name, no files. Any suggestions on how to stop this from happening? At this point I don’t trust putting anything in the files app because it keeps auto deleting over time.
