Is there a work around to get my 2020 computer to connect to my iMac as a display? Newer computers should be "allowed" to connect. Help!

If you have a 2020 13" MacBook Pro as your profile indicates, then you can use most any external display.

As mentioned, you can not use your iMac because no 2020 Mac can use an iMac in Target Display Mode.
