I am unable to delete a chat/ message in messenger on iPhone 13 pro. Nothing happens when I press on bubble. All it says in message is there is no message. No options to delete at all no matter what I press. Any ideas?

Messenger app not displaying messages since update this morning/ how to restart app on iphone 13 Hi - the messenger app isn't displaying messages after it updated earlier today. I have an iphone 13 and restarted the phone but that didn't help. I'd like to try restarting the messenger app but can't figure out how to do that. Can’t delete conversation in messages Is anyone experiencing a bug in iOS 16.0.2 where you are unable to remove a conversation in the messages app? Removing the conversation immediately puts it back. Only happens with one user (SMS) — they are not pinned. The following does NOT work: Swiping left and deleting. Tapping edit > select messages > delete. Pressing and holding conversation > delete. Restarting the phone. Removing and re-adding the Messages app to the Home screen. Toggling airplane mode. Blocking/Unblocking the user (just to cover all bases). Removing the user from contacts/address and adding them back.

Your phone is not at the latest iOS. Please update your phone (Settings > General > Software Update) then try deleting a message again.
