Watch lighting up all night on charger

after this last update, my watch will not stop lighting up. It’s on the charger, it’s on focus, theater mode, and the nightstand mode is turned OFF! It lights up ever 2-3 minutes, it shows the charging ring then then the very, very bright Home Screen. I have to turn it off to stop it. Has anyone else had this problem?

What you describe is what happens when you disconnect the watch from its charger--it makes me think that the charger doesn't provide a consistent current. Is it possible that the power supply is bad? Is the charger firmly attached to the watch?

Until you're sure, you can get a good night's sleep by powering the watch down while it charges. Just push in the side button until the screen shows the power-off slider. It should charge just without coming back on.

It does it regardless of what charger I put it on. And no, you can’t turn it off and put it on the charger, it turns on when it’s connected.

Use the Support link in the upper right corner of this webpage, and ask Apple about this. What you’re describing might indicate a hardware problem with the Watch; something malfunctioning in the charging circuitry.
