Make Siri always repeat time back when setting alarm (iOS 16)

Since the latest update Siri does not mention the time that is set. I missed an important meeting because the time set was not the time I requested. I saw an answer in 2017 that you can ask what time the alarm is set but that is not very convenient if you have 7 alarms, one per meeting, Let Siri simply reply the time set.

When asking Siri to set an alarm she just sets a timer now since iOS 17 update. When I ask Siri “hey siri, set an alarm for 10 minutes” before iOS 17 she would set an alarm clock like I asked, now she just sets a timer with the time asked for… like it’s really not rocket science.

Siri not announcing alarms Wondering if anyone else is having this issue after the last iOS update. I used to ask Siri which alarms are set and she would tell me which alarms are on. Now she just tells me how many are set. I confirmed that I have “announce notifications” on for the clock app and already tried turning off the “attention aware” feature. My mom is blind and heavily relies on this feature so hopefully this can be fixed. Thanks!

siri prefer silent responses but not always I use Siri a lot. I prefer her to usually respond silently and she does that because I have the setting set to “prefer silent responses”. But, often I wake up in the middle of the night and I want to ask Siri what is the time and I would like for her to respond verbally (so I don’t have to put my glasses on ). I have tried many different ways to ask Siri to override the setting and announce the time verbally but so far I haven’t found a way.

Please check if you have a 12Hr or 24 Hrs format on your device.
