Melodyne ARA no longer working after update to Logic 10.7.5

Just updated to Logic 10.7.5 in the hope that the myriad bugs in 10.7.4 would have been fixed to immediately find that Melodyne no longer works properly. No blobs showing.

I will stress that before the update to .5 everythign with Melodyne was fine. This is nothign to do with it not being first in the plugins or having flex enabled, it's 100% to do with t update from Logic .4 to .5

Has anyone got tips or come across this please?

How do you uninstall a plugin and then reinstall for example? Are there other standard things to try in thris situaiton?

Melodyne works in standalone mode, so maybe it's Apple breaking ARA with the Update?

Thanks.

OK, just in case someone else comes across this and it helps, the issue(s) was/were as follows:

  1. When OSX did the update to Logic 10.7.5 it named the NEW version 10.7.4 and the old version which I had saved as Logic 10.7.4. (In case the update was mega buggy like 10.7.3 to 10.7.4 I could at least roll back to some thing that worked.)
  2. So, although when you luanch Logic from the pop up menu at the bottom of the screen it was launching 10.7.5 it hadn't enabled Rosetta so ARA wasn't working.
  3. When I went and right clicked on Logic Pro in the applications folder on Finder (I mean, why would I click on 10.7.4?) it was ticked as launching in Rosetta. However, what was labelled "Logic Pro 10.7.4" was 10.7.5 and what was labelled "Logic Pro" was 10.7.4. When this finally dawned on me, I could both run ARA in 10.7.4 and if I then chose 10.7.5 (the REAL 10.7.5) to run with Rosetta it worked.
  4. FFS. Sort out your update process, Apple!
