Using Pages on Extended Display

Even if I open Pages on my Extended display, the files open by default on my Macbook Air, first, as do things like the search screen. How can I make Pages use the extended display for everything it does while it is open? Thanks

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.3

Thanks but when I look at the options on Pages, it only has the "keep in dock, open at login, and show in finder".. It doesn't have anything about assigning it.

You mention Two spaces in one of my displays...as far as I know, each display is one space, but there are not two on one display, and don't know how to create that. But I love the possibility here, if I can find out how to make it work.
