Unable to preview audio in finder on Mac book pro

Everytime I try to listen to audio files in finder I can't. It's really annoying because I have folders full of audio files that I use to make music. If I want to hear the audio I have to double click the file and it opens in Apple music, and this didn't use to happen. I would really appreciate anyones help.

Try restarting in Safe Mode. Does it work there?

Restart again normally.

Some times this can bring things back to normal.

If not: Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.
