USB ports disconnecting (trash can)

My Mac Pro 6.1 USB ports keeps disconnecting by it self. I realize that this happens only when am working in FCPX. Usually when am moving the play head back and forth and adding transitions. Lately, It happens very often and requires system shutdown if want to use the USB ports. I connect my Apple wired keyboard to the Mac so this means i have not able to continue work until I restart. The Mac has got OS Monterey installed with the latest OS updates. I use this machine for video editing and the way it’s behaving lately is frustrating work. Please any help with my problem will be well appreciated.

If the USB ports of your Mac are not working randomly, the first thing we would recommend is to follow the recommendations outlined here to see if they help with this behavior: If a USB device doesn’t work with Mac

If this continues to occur with multiple USB devices, then having your Mac inspected for service would be the next best step. You can look into your available options here: Mac Repair & Service
