How is he using your iCloud Storage?

Do you have him as part of a Family Sharing group? If so, you would need to move him to another Family Group and remove him from your own. Link-> Move a child to another group using Family Sharing - Apple Support

Or is your iCloud account logged into his iPhone? If so, you would need to log out of his iPhone.
