I have been using podcast stations on my iPhone (13 pro max) for some time, but recently (I guess after upgrading to ios16) they seem to have stopped working!
it used to play the 3 podcasts in my station in date order, but now it only plays the single podcast stream and ignores the other 2 streams until I select them

It seems like your created stations aren't able to play your podcasts one after another since the iOS 16 update, right? Does it happen with a specific station or this is the same behavior across all your custom stations?
If you haven't yet, you can try to create a new station and put the same podcasts in there to see if it'll play through. You can follow the steps here:

I am having a similar issue since the last update 16.1.1. I have been using podcast stations for a few years now. I use them to listen to my 10 or so favorite podcasts in chronological order oldest to newest. They have been especially helpful while on my daily walks where I don’t want to have to pull out my phone when a podcast finishes and the next one starts. Since the update, the next podcast does not automatically start playing and when I ask Siri to skip to next podcast in chrono order she will either tell me that she can’t or will play the next episode of the same show - even though I have “group by show” turned off! Why oh why did you break this??? So annoying. Please change it back to the way it was before.
