Apple TV restrictions/content control for each Family User / Account?

Is it not possible to set content restrictions for each user account on a single Apple TV device?

I'm the organizer for our family group, which has three accounts/users: me, my wife, and one I've recently created for our 3-year-old son. Would love to be able to enable Restrictions and content control on the Apple TV tied to the three-year-old's user account, but then have restrictions turned off for myself and my wife. And have them switch/carryover when you switch between user accounts.

It seems like every family would want this kind of basic functionality, and yet it doesn't seem to be how Apple TV handles these things.

Am I wrong / missing something obvious? Thanks!

Thank you. It seems for now, the answer is no. You either have content restrictions on or off. I’d like to have them on when the child account is the active user but off when my wife and I are the active user account. That’s not how the Apple TV software works now. Same for viewing history, continue watching and such.

I will submit feedback to Apple. Apple TV is still considerably more expensive than other steaming boxes, and for those of use also pay for Apple services, it shouldn’t be too much to expect some of this pretty basic but helpful and useful functionality.
