I have a little collection of iMac drive scores and yours are about on nominals for the Fusion system in a 21.5-inch iMac. With those speeds, things should NOT feel slow. Likewise, you RAM was not stressed at the time of the test.
For some reason, Spotlight indexing was being piggy when you ran the test. Was the test run right after a restart or a major system upgrade?

If the latter, it can take hours to settle in as Spotlight has to reindex tens of thousands of new files. Through System Preferences/Settings you can limit what Spotlight tracks, often reducing the impact of indexing on performance. Example: If an app like Apple Mail offers decent search options, there is not reason to have Spotlight deal with it. You can deselect mail messages from System Prefs/Settings:
I would recommend that you download the free version of DriveDX and check both the SSD and hard disk portions of your Fusion Drive. If either report any errors that means that component is dying and causing your problem.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, Ventura was installed within the 2 hours of the EtraCheck report. This is my wife's iMac, so I don't often interact with it, but my impression was that it was underperforming. As this has the Fusion drive, I would have thought there was sufficient speed in the Fusion drive and 8GB of memory to be snappier, especially on startup (getting to the desktop). As it's a 2017 model, maybe I'm expecting too much. It sounds like nothing else stands out, based on the EtraCheck report?
Thanks.
I reinstall Monterey before i upgraded to Mac OS Ventura!
I have the same 2017 imac with the same specs ,but in 27" screen.
My Imac running so fine after i have installing Mac OS Ventura on it!
Maybe i`m just lucky?

This may not have been at play when you did the test but can be a real ankle-bitter:
