Retrieving deleted iMessage

I deleted about 4 years of IMessages from a single phone number about 2 1/2 weeks ago. How do I get them back?

iPhone 11, iOS 15

Unless they were included in a recent back-up they are probably gone for good. If you had been running iOS 16, check this link...
