Safari: Disable :This webpage is using significant memory

Hi, I'm forking on figma with several windows open, i am aware that i'm using a lot of memory,

i just want to disable the banner error cause i'm not gonna fix the problem.


i got a crazy MacBook Pro M1, awesome beast,

but working online so, figma is the problem ;) and i know it.

If there is a way to do it, I don't know what it is. The message is intended to be informative; a sort of "hall of shame" for inefficient websites — usually, the type clogged with advertisements.


It serves two purposes: to inform users who have no clue why their battery life is so short, and to encourage website developers to clean up their act. Whether either of those two goals is being met is unknown, but I doubt Apple would prefer people remain ignorant.
