Payment method verification issue

I have two payment methods, and when I go the Payment Methods page they both show up as verified.


However, when I try to buy something, a "pop-up" (for lack of a better term) opens, saying I need to verify my payment methods, and then takes me to the same Payment Methods page, but now both payment methods show as unverified. I press on one of them to verify and I am asked for a code that I am supposed to get in a text message. So far so good.


The problem is that when I open that text message, the pop-up where I was supposed to enter the code is no longer there, and I can't get it back.


Has this happened to anyone else? For me it happens consistently. Any solution?
