Force sync of iCloud on windows

Is there any way to force synchronize iCloud Drive in windows? I have a file I know is uploaded from my Mac that has yet to be downloaded on the windows 10 machine.

I want to prioritize the files that I need and the checkbox for "Always Keep on this device" is already on and checked.

I just toggled the always keep option and that did not initiate a manual update and sync...

I have the "status" column displayed and that shows a green dot with white checkmark in it. As I understand it that is supposed to mean that the file folder has been updated and is synchronized yet the files I want that are in there have yet to be transferred and show in windows file explorer.

I just tried to use the "share folder" function but that still did not cause a manual sync...

There was an issue with things not wanting to sync a few weeks ago so there was a backlog of files to sync.

The iCloud version on windows looks to be 13.4

Windows, Windows 10

I empathise and cannot express the frustration I have had with this applet on Windows when i need images taken on my phone for documents on my laptop... and the laptop just will not sync.

10min...15 min... it tells me how long since last sync - and it will not do it.

This program needs a "Manual Sync" button. However awesome Apple thinks it is... it's not and won't be without such a feature.
