Camera

I disabled my camera via the command line file permission technique on my 2018 13" MBP when on it's original macos High Sierra I think. Now, reversing that procedure doesn't work as the files no longer exist after software updates. The camera is visible as USB on the T2 Bus, but has a serial number of ? Product ID 0x8514 and version numbers are there and correct. The camera is not visible to software or visible in the camera section of hardware.

One thing I see is that there's no QuickTime directory in /System/Library/ (should there be in Monterey?)

I'm sure this is a software/missing drivers problem as I can see the camera on the USB T2 Bus, although I have done a factory reset and re-install Monterey.

Can anyone help?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6
