AirPod and Sony TV
Is there a way of using my AirPods with a 13-yr-old Sony TV (no BlueTooth)?

A requirement of pairing your AirPods would be a bluetooth compatible device. It would not be possible to connect it to your TV without this. Check out more information on setting up your AirPods with non-Apple devices here: Set up AirPods with your Mac and other Bluetooth devices - Apple Support.
