I have a MacBook Air M1 purchased in March 2021 and the Full Battery Cycles are only 21 Full Cycles.

Also, the same computer came with Big Sur and upgraded to Monterey and finally to Ventura and do not find anything too Buggy in Ventura

Suggest connecting the computer to the charger for maybe a day or two while using the Computer.

There have been many changes that occurred when Ventura was installed and the computer is Re-Indexing every single file on the computer.

That may account for the Battery Discharging more quickly if you are running it Only on Battery Power

Secondly, I don't seem to recall a forum law that forbids someone else -except from the original poster- to reply.

It is a system of gamification. When you start a thread, you gain the ability to award points. People in search of points so they can "level up" will answer your question in hopes of getting those points.

But here's the problem. If you didn't start the thread, you can't award points. So there is zero incentive for anyone to answer your question. When you do this kind of "thread-jacking", you are denying the opportunity for someone else to earn some points.

And lastly, you stated “The are caused by incompatible 3rd party system modification software.”. Its nice to know that the Operating System is now consider to be a 3rd party system modification software.

You seem to have misunderstood. 3rd party system modification software is software, not made by Apple, that runs 24 x 7 in the background. This kind of software is very sensitive to changes in the operating system. The day that Apple makes a new operating system like Ventura available, people start clicking the download buttons.

But what about those 3rd party system modifications? Do those get updated? Sometimes they don't. 3rd party developers just don't get the same kind of love. And then, when they don't make any money, they lose interest. One day, their software is no longer compatible.

Hope this issue is tackled by Apple on the next update, as a lot of people suffer from it.

Does Apple know that? How would they know?

I have a similar but worst experience.

I have the Macbook Pro M1 Max 32 GB RAM, and since I upgraded to Ventura, when its unplugged and reaches 18% battery, then its BLACK SCREEN and cannot operate. The only solution is to plug it on the power and it will start from the "loading screen" just like when we power on the Mac. Weird thing is that once it loads, is like nothing happened. All browser windows there, spreadsheets untouched, xCode and simulator running, etc..

This happens every time i reach 18% on battery. After i plug it, its always on 9%. After 30 seconds it shows 20%. Very very weird.

Also, it seems that the power drain is increased by a lot!

Any idea why? Is this a Ventura bug? Any suggestions? When I was on Monterey everything was working perfectly.

With respect,

Nothing changed on my MacBook. No new software installed. Just updated xCode due to new version. How is this a problem of 3rd party incompatibility?

Also i see a lot of activity on WindowServer service…

The proper phrasing is "with all due respect" when you don't mean it. 😄

First of all, this isn't your thread. Whatever problem you might be having may have no relation to whatever problem the original poster was having. That is who I was replying to.

Secondly, you said "I upgraded to Ventura" and then "Nothing changed on my MacBook. No new software installed." So which is it? No changes or changed everything? Please include the answer in your own question for your own problem.
