Logic pro issues monterey

Hi!

i just got a brand new macbook Pro

on monterey and logic included in the purchase (so already installed when i got the computer) 10.7.4

two major problems (for now)

• the space bar is not play/pause , I tried to go to the keyboard settings , replace and re assign etc but nothing is working
• it often creates a new track instead

• what also seems to happen is that it selects the « windows »

what I mean is that when I want to click on an instrument in the library on the left side of the screen, clicking just marks the whole library in a blue square and then I can’t navigate in it. Clicking in the library never works, I can only choose instruments with the ➡️⬇️ But it is extremely inconvenient

if you have any ideas ! I got terribly frustrated cause it makes it impossible to work and everything is brand new 😭
