Error message received when doing the software update for an iPad through PC.
The first update attempt, this is the error message: The iPad could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (100).
The second update attempt, this is the error message: The iPad could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (6).
Anybody knows what is the issue here?

After I disabled the anti-virus, the update was successful. Now let me see if this successful software update can resolve the real problem (iPad would not start and it stuck on Apple logo).

Make sure to disable any installed antivirus software, on your PC, then try again.
