keynote export function disappeared on ipad

Yesterday 26 October 2022 i created a keynote presentation and exported it as a movie using the export function.

Today, 27 October i create a Keynote presentation and try to do the same.

this function no longer appears as an option when i press the 3 little dots. it doesn't seem to have moved elsewhere. it just no longer exists. Nor does it exist as an option when i use keynote on a desktop. in fact there are no possibilities within Keynote to export the presentation as anything. i am using an iPad pro 2020 running IOS16.1

What Gives?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 16

Hi jimmybluesoul,

From what you described in your original post, it will be a good idea to try the steps here: Convert Keynote presentations to PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint, and more - Apple Support.

In order to perform the troubleshooting steps in the link above, click and open the link, then read through the steps in the section titled "Convert a Keynote presentation in Keynote on iPhone or iPad."

If you want to open a Keynote presentation in another app like Microsoft PowerPoint, use Keynote to convert the presentation to an appropriate format.

1) Open the presentation that you want to convert, then tap the More button .
2) Tap Export.
3) Choose a format for your presentation.
4) Choose how you want to send your presentation, like with Mail or Messages.

The reason why we are recommending the steps above is because they will show you how to convert a Keynote presentation in Keynote on your iPad Pro.
