I purchased my Apple Watch Ultra a couple of weeks ago with a yellow Ocean Band. The watch has not yet been in the water, worn anywhere dirty or near any chemicals, but the top of the ridge has started to discolour orange, with a discernible orange stripe. Apple Support are currently messing me around with the usual lack of promised callbacks, missed dates etc.
Has anybody else had any experience of discolouration on this band ?
Whether anyone else has an issue (I own the Ocean Band in yellow and have no discoloration issues, with pretty heavy wear), won't help you. You need to work this out with Apple directly. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for direct assistance from them.
