After installed the update ios 16 Why my battery 🪫 is not working properly it drain my battery life how can uninstall that update

Downloaded iOS 17.0.1 and its using excessive amount of battery I have an iphone 12 and ever since I got the official iOS17 update my phones battery has been draining very fast and once it gets to the bottom 20% it jumps around between 12% and 6%. Is there a way to uninstall the official update and go back to iOS16?
