How do I remove the number “1” highlighted in red color on my settings icon badge? Thanks much.

The Settings App may be notifying you that your iPhone may have an update waiting to be downloaded and installed OR the Settings app may have some other notification that it wants you to interact with.

Have you opened the Settings app to see what the notification is?
