Have an iPhone 7. Not receiving texts or sending texts. Getting them on my iPad.
How can I fix it? iPhone 7 not sending or receiving text messages. I am tech challenged.

Settings, Messages, Turn off iMessage
Settings, Face Time, Turn off Face Time
Restart the phone.
Settings, Messages, Turn on iMessage, and SMS, MMS
Settings, Messages, send & Receive, select your number which should now be there.
