iPhone refusing fingerprint recognition

My hardworking SE is refusing to accept my fingerprint. I’ve tried resetting, cleaning both phone and finger, warming up my finger by rubbing it, nothing works. While a comparatively minor inconvenience, it’s annoying that it’s refusing to work!
