I have Screen Time restrictions on for my daughter's iPad, which doubles as her Speech Assistive Device. With the Screen Time restrictions on, every time I go to update apps, it requires me to enter the password for every. Single. App. Is there a way to change it to not require the password to download updates?
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > [Require Password] - set to Don’t Require.
If set to Always Require, you must always enter your AppleID password to purchase/download Apps - whether “free” or otherwise.

Open Settings ➡️ Screen Time ➡️ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➡️ iTunes & App Store Purchases ➡️ Require Password: Here, put a check mark in Don’t Require.
