iphone 14 pro max camera auto focus

Is there a fix to the camera not focusing on videos? I did enable macro and it does help on focusing when taking pictures however it is not helping with videos whether you are using the front or the rear camera. Spend a lot of money on this phone and I make a living with LIVE videos and now this is causing an issue for me.

Hello MilissaRJ,

To help troubleshoot, ensure iOS is updated on your iPhone. Currently, iOS 16.1 is the latest version of iOS. You can tap Settings > General > Software Update to check for an update.

To further troubleshoot, check out the suggestions in the article below:

If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working

"If the camera isn't working

  1. Remove any case, accessory, or film that might block the camera or that places a magnet near the camera.
  2. Test the camera by trying to take a photo.
  3. If the photo is blurry, clean the front and back camera lenses with a microfiber cloth. If you see dirt or debris inside the lens or if the camera lens appears to be misaligned or blocked, contact Apple Support for help with your iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch.
  4. Restart your iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch
  5. Test the camera again by taking a photo. If your device has a front and rear camera, check if one or both isn’t working. To switch cameras, tap the rotate button ."

Let us know if that helps.

Kind regards.
